Annapurna Mountains

One of Nepal’s most dangerous mountain ranges, Annapurna is located in the eastern part of the Himalayas, next to the Kali Gandaki River. The highest peak is 8,091 m. The Annapurna Range has 6 highest peaks that reach at least 7200 meters high, is a favorite destination for mountaineers, challenging their endurance and patience.


If you are just curious enouhg to see the beauty of the Annapurna range from afar, go to Sarangkot. It is considered to be Nepal’s most popular destination. Visitors often visit the attraction in large groups. However, if you want a quiet, relaxing place from which can admire the sunrise and sunset on the majestic Himalayas, find the lawn where helicopter landing. In addition, in Sarangkot, visitors also experience parachuting, enjoy the scenery of temples, lakes, forests and villages in the mountain basin.

Lake Gosainkunda

Located in the northern part of Kathmandu, Gosainkunda is an ice lake associated with many other lakes. Hindu pilgrims come to visit the lake during the full moon festival in August because they believe the lake was created by Shiva god and the image of the god will appear on the water surface. During your trip you will be able to see the beautiful sights of Ganesh Himal, Manaslu and Annapurna. This is also a popular sacred destination of Buddhist followers.

Narayani River

One of the largest and most important rivers of the country, Narayani is also known for the names Kali Gandaki, Gandaki or Krishna Gandaki. This river flows deep through the Himalayas and contains abundant hydrogen power. When come to this river edge, visitors can book a boat trip on the river, admire the scenery and explore the rich fauna and flora of the area around the river.

Kala Patthar

Kala Patthar is a small mount with the name meaning “black stone”. The mount is 5,570 m high and is on the way to EBC – a campsite of Everest conquest. Kala Patthar is one of the most popular trekking destinations in Nepal due to its modest elevation, but it does not lack the adventurous climbing experience. From here you can look at the summits of Everest, Nuptse Nup II and Changtse with magnificent views.

Phoksundo Lake

Situated in the remote area of Dolpo, brave trekkers would love to conquer the lake for a view of beautiful natural scenery of Nepal. Phoksundo is the deepest lake in Nepal, very clean and clear water, but there are no signs of living below. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, Phoksundo Lake is becoming more attractive. Tourists are reminded in advance that this place is a sacred site of Buddhist followers, so bathing and swimming here is strictly prohibited.

Poon Hill

During the journey to explore Nepal, you should visit several villages and go through Poon Hill to learn more about the different cultural traits. Roads are not too difficult to walk and you do not have to suffer from changing elevation like climbing. The road to the village is suitable for beginners and children.

Gokyo Lake

This is a lake system hidden in the Everest region. If you want to visit the lakes, be sure about hiking ability. Besides, trekking to Gokyo includes a trip to an EBC campsite. It took you three days to get to the valley near the lake, from here you can see the panoramic snow-capped mountains and glacial lake

Phewa Tal Lake

Nepal’s second largest waterfall is surrounded by the Rani Bani jungle which is famous for its rich bird life. Phewa Tal has a blue water surface that reflects the color of the dense forest alongside the shadows of the Annapurna Mountains. You can enjoy boat trips or wander on riverbanks.
